Who we are

Rankflock is a product of Canarysites, Gran Canaria, Spain. Canarysites is responsible for the website rankflock.com and for the Rankflock app.

Canarysites is the trade name of Kristina Booijink, registered in Spain under NIE Z1104224E. Administrative address: Calle Garoe 22, 35110 Vecindario, Las Palmas, Spain. This is not a visiting address.

The website

The website rankflock.com sets no cookies, loads nothing from third parties and does not measure visitors.

The app

The app runs on app.rankflock.com and on the domains of partner agencies that offer Rankflock under their own name. It is used by agencies and their clients.

Your account. For each account we keep a name, an email address, the organisation the account belongs to and a hash of the password. We never store the password itself.

Your sites. For each site that is connected, Rankflock fetches:

  • from Google Search Console: search queries, clicks, impressions and positions;
  • from Google Analytics 4: sessions and conversions per page;
  • from WooCommerce: revenue per product;
  • from a weekly crawl of the site: technical data about its pages, such as titles, descriptions, links and images;
  • from WordPress, through the Rankflock plugin: the pages, posts, products, product categories and images of the site, with their SEO titles, descriptions and alt texts.

What for. To find opportunities to improve the site in search, to write new titles, descriptions and alt texts, to apply approved changes to the site and to keep a log of every change.

How long. We keep site data for as long as the site is in Rankflock. We keep account data for as long as the account exists. Ask us and we delete it.

Who processes it.

  • Hetzner hosts the app and its database on servers in Germany.
  • Resend sends the emails of the app, such as approval requests and the weekly email.
  • The AI provider that each customer chooses, Anthropic or OpenAI, receives page texts, images and search queries to write the new texts. The customer uses their own key with that provider.

Google data

When you connect a Google account, Rankflock asks for read-only access to Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4 through Google's OAuth consent screen. Rankflock cannot change anything in those accounts.

With that access, Rankflock reads the figures listed above for the sites you connect. It stores those figures and an encrypted Google token in its own database, and uses them only to analyse and improve those sites and to report on them. We do not sell Google data. Search queries are sent to the customer's AI provider only to write texts for that site.

You can revoke the connection at any time in the settings of the site in Rankflock, or in the security settings of your Google account.

Rankflock's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
